When he joined PETL in September 2010 as our Head of HR and Administration, Lance’s immediate focus was to develop our Human Resources Strategy. This included supporting our business proposition and attracting leading talent across the energy sector into PETL. Lance now leads a team of two HR professionals who focus on the effective implementation of our HR approach – this includes talent attraction and retention, training, organisational development and employee engagement. Lance also liaises with the HR teams at our parent company, PETRONAS.
Lance comes to PETL having worked in various senior positions in HR Management within the IT and Leisure sectors, covering EMEA. He has worked for both international and small enterprises alike and is a specialist in organisational development, recruitment and retention planning, employee relations policy formulation, talent management programmes and the design and delivery of reward structures and policies.

Lance has a degree from The University of Portsmouth and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). He also acts as a mentor to other HR professionals at various levels. In his spare time he pursues his passion for landscape photography and has had his work exhibited.
